18th C German Neoclassic inlaid walnut commode

18th C. - circa 1790 - German Neoclassic inlaid walnut commode. Baronial in scale, with large graceful proportions. Multiple beading, inlays, and cross banding in ebony and contrasting walnut burls. Very original finish. Original feet. Solid, strongly built fir linings.

Locks and most hardware original, with nice patina - some oxidation on the sides.

Minor old veneer and string inlay beading replacements. Drawer runners rebuilt.
