18th C - Italian Neoclassic cherry writing table. Egyptian motifs and subtle ebony banding throughout. A pullout writing slide increases the working surface, allowing two people to work at the desk at the same time. Very original, retaining the full tapered legs, drawer linings and steel locks.

Light polish on all sides over the old finish. Excellent oxidized color and aged shrinkage create a texture in the veneers. Some old replacements to the ebony banding.

Dimensions in inches - width, depth, height - 58 x 24 x 32
